Bio: Cari Gusman has over 25 years of progressive experience in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology and this experience has prepared her to direct a Core Laboratory in one of the largest Health Systems in the New York metropolitan area. Currently she is the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Laboratory Operations for Northwell Health Laboratories. Her areas of responsibility include Maintaining Daily Operational Performance, she is involved in the development of improving policy/procedures, process innovations and changes which support the strategic direction of the health system; Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards; Oversees System Wide Quality Control Program; Oversees financial management including budget, salary, capital. Cari Gusman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from New York Institute of Technology Old Westbury NY and is a licensed clinical laboratory technologist in New York State.
