Stacy Olea
Bio: Stacy Olea has been with The Joint Commission since 2011, first as the Field Director for the Laboratory and Ambulatory programs and now as the Executive Director for the laboratory program, which includes Patient Blood Management certification. To her role, Olea brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including management and laboratory experience in critical access hospitals, community hospitals, large systems, and reference laboratories. As Executive Director, her responsibilities include business development and strategic planning, plus sales and marketing of products. Olea is a registered medical technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathology and is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in clinical laboratory science and her Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She currently resides in Mount Vernon, Washington.
