Bio: Bonnie Messinger worked for ARUP Laboratories for 37 years, 28 of which were in Quality. Responsibilities included driving process improvement activities, supporting quality initiatives for improving laboratory and non-laboratory processes, and working to identify, monitor, and remove
the causes of defects, service failures, and inefficiency.

Messinger designed and carried forward the training of ARUP’s workforce on the tools and techniques of Quality. Currently, she’s collaborating with D’Angelo Advantage, LLC to train and mentor laboratories seeking to develop a quality management system.

Messinger is certified as a Healthcare Quality Professional by the American Society for Quality and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
