Debra Walters
Bio: Debra Walters is a Senior LIS Applications Specialist at Florida Hospital in Orlando, a Sunquest client site since 1995. She is also the President of the Sunquest User Group for 2015-2016.
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Walters has over 35 years of experience in laboratory medicine, with 20 of those years in information systems technology. She specializes in interfacing and interoperability between systems (including Meaningful Use), troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and implementing electronic solutions to provide smarter and safer healthcare for Florida Hospital’s patients and physicians.
