Jean-Philippe Galhaud

Bio: Jean-Philippe GALHAUD has over 20 years of experience in the field of laboratory medicine.Starting by managing a private Lab, Jean-Philippe then merged his lab with five others to create a larger laboratory network in the Basque Country in France. He was then instrumental in the creation of a group of three lab networks – EXALAB, LBA, SEALAB – covering all the South-West of France comprising of 79 laboratories, 10 000 patients per day.He is currently the director of, the recently created, Medical Affairs department in LABEXA Group, the largest private medical analysis laboratory in the region. Jean-Philippe also plays an active role in the steering committee of LABEXA.Jean-Philippe’s areas of interest include the use of Big Data to improve healthcare management in laboratory medicine and more generally, the application of new technology to enhance Patient-Centered medical analysis.
