Sumie Edwards

Bio: Sumie Edwards has been with ARUP for more than 14 years, the majority of which she spent in a molecular laboratory working alongside management in performing and improving test systems and departmental workflows. In her current role, she mentors the development of data sets that guide both staff and management in identifying areas for improvement. During the course of her ARUP career, Sumie’s passion for continuous improvement has driven her to create or improve processes, resulting in the company-wide implementation of such processes, including a medical director competency software application.
